You know when the alarm clock goes off and if you're anything like me I set my alarm clock a half hour early so I can hit the snooze button a few times. Now once you actually get up, the battle begins! My daughter wakes up on her own so I don't have to worry about her but she tends to spend forever in the shower and I can't get the boys up until she gets out of the shower. So the boys grunt and moan before they finally get up. Then there's the fight with toothpaste. Next comes my 4 year old whining about something, anything and everything. The night before you have their clothes picked out and ready all they have to do is get dressed. Sounds simple right? WRONG I walk away to do something else whatever I need to attend to. I come back say 10-15 minutes later this one's fighting with his buttons and the other seemed to have just spaced out and didn't do a thing, not even put one sock on. Oh then there's the usual I can't find my shoes. WTF? We have a designated area of our home where we keep our shoes and I know I told you to put your shoes there yesterday when you came home from school. Why in the hell or better yet how in the hell did they end up in these random places? I just don't get that part. I really don't. You know, you think you have a system in place, it sounded like a good idea at the time. Obviously it's not because it isn't working!!! I would love to hear your thoughts on how you get things going in the morning and have you found a system that works? Because I would really like to know. I'm open to ideas.
